Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) uses rigid gas-permeable contact lenses worn during sleep. They temporarily and reversibly reshape the cornea so you can see clearly during the day without glasses or daytime contacts. The effect fades gradually if you stop wearing them.

→People with active eye infections, significant corneal conditions (keratoconus, dystrophies), severe dry eye, poorly controlled ocular allergies, or anyone unable to keep strict hygiene and attend follow-up visits.
→Serious complications are uncommon when guidelines are followed: hand washing, cleaning with recommended products, never tap water, respecting wear hours and attending check-ups. In case of pain, red eye or blurred vision, remove the lens and seek advice.
